The Pantalon Cinq Poches is a refreshingly new option we're excited to add to our lineup of iconic pants. It features a tapered silhouette, belt loops on the waistband, a metal tack button for fastening, and rivets. For our 2021 fall season, we designed and produced our own organic cotton denim in Ibara, Okayama, the denim capital of the world (known historically for its denim production, Okayama today is regarded by many as the birthplace of Japanese jeans).
 
Our denim fabric was produced using Okayama's vintage shuttle loom machines, which are extremely slow, analog, and only produce about 80cm of high-quality denim per hour. To color the denim, we used the heritage method for dyeing denim known as "Indigo Rope Dyeing".
