Our Oversized Belted Coat was designed with Sillage's minimal and singular design language in mind, and the result was the perfect modular spring outerwear piece - its wide voluminous shape and hidden features allow for the silhouette of the coat to take a number of different shapes.

The coat is constructed out of our original organic bleached denim and features two side pockets, two lapels, a button directly beneath the left lapel, and a belt around the waist that when cinched, creates beautiful natural pleats while also letting the wearer transform the silhouette of the coat into an hourglass shape. Also, underneath the lapels of the coat, we've added a hidden chinstrap for wearers - the lapels need to be folded upward, then the wearer simply needs to button the chinstrap into place, creating a completely new look.

Lastly, we've revived our iconic ivory triple stitching and have it featured from the front to the back of the coats.

We've done a number of animal themed series here at Sillage, but we feel a special connection to the Elephant because of its status as a national symbol - it represents a deep link to Yuthanan's roots, to his homeland, Thailand.
