日本各地の廃業した生地工場からデッドストック生地を見つけ、それらを素材に商品を作っていくデッドストックファブリックシリーズ。80年代 から2000年ぐらいまでの某有名ブランドものから試作反に至るまで、とにかく面白い生地をピックアップしていきます。

今回は播州織（ばんしゅうおり）をピックアップしています。播州織は兵庫県の北播磨地域（主に西脇市や多可町など）で生産されている綿織物です。江戸時代後期から続く伝統産業であり、国内の「先染織物」において70％以上の高いシェアを誇ります。バラエティある先染めの生地たちを選んでいただけたらです。
