A deadstock fabric series that sources unused materials from shuttered fabric mills across Japan. From iconic brands of the '80s through the early 2000s, we seek out unique and compelling textiles, no matter where they come from.

This limited collection is crafted from vintage deadstock materials, carefully selected from the 1980s to the early 2000s. It features unique fabrics from renowned brands as well as rare prototype materials.

Crafted from deadstock Bingo Kasuri, a historic indigo dyed cotton woven in Fukuyama, Hiroshima since the late Edo period. Known for its soft hand, durability, and quiet geometric patterns such as igeta lattice, stripes, and checks, Bingo Kasuri reflects over 150 years of Japanese textile craftsmanship. A timeless fabric where tradition meets a more contemporary expression.

The Circular Pants have become one of Sillage's most iconic designs, featuring adjustable double drawcords at the waist, two patch pockets at the back, and shell buttons. The Circular Pants are the roundest and widest in Sillage’s wardrobe.

日本各地の廃業した生地工場からデッドストック生地を見つけ、それらを素材に商品を作っていくデッドストックファブリックシリーズ。80年代 から2000年ぐらいまでの某有名ブランドものから試作反に至るまで、とにかく面白い生地をピックアップしていきます。

今回は備後絣をセレクトしています。

備後絣（びんごがすり）は、広島県福山市周辺で江戸時代末期から製造されている、日本三大絣（久留米絣、伊予絣、備後絣）の一つ。藍染の木綿糸を使った丈夫で柔らかな肌触りが特徴で、1992年に広島県指定伝統的工芸品に登録されました。特徴的な井桁（いげた）模様やストライプ、格子柄が知られ、現代では伝統技術を活かしたデニムや洋服も作られています。
