Sillage and KARDO come together for a collaborative collection celebrating Indian craftsmanship and textile traditions.

For this collaboration, Sillage commissioned a selection of textiles produced in India using traditional techniques, including hand embroidery, block printing and hand-painted details.

The fabrics were then brought to Japan, where all cutting and sewing were carried out locally, combining Indian craftsmanship with Sillage’s signature silhouettes.

Each piece is individually crafted, with subtle variations that reflect the handmade nature of the collection.

The silhouette is a reimagined open-collar shirt, a signature Sillage style for the summer season. Cut wide with a beautiful drape and flowing silhouette, this new interpretation features a ribbed hem, giving the shirt a distinctive shape reminiscent of the 1980s.

インド・ニューデリーで2013年に設立されたメンズウェアブランド KARDOとのコラボレーション。量産されたファストファッションのアンチテーゼであるKARDO(カルド)は、メンズウェアの細部にまで注意を払った服作りをしています。手作業によるディティールのものつくりはインドの伝統的な製織、染色、印刷技術を取り入れています。

今回Sillage は生地をKARDOに発注して縫製を全て日本でしました。

こちらは天然の染色で手染めしてから手刺繍で一点一点仕上げた作品です。

スタイルは夏のSillage の定番とも言える再構築したオープンカラーシャツ。

ワイドでドレープ感がしっかり出て美しいシルエット　パンツインしてバランスを取っていただく提案です。新提案として裾をリブにして80sを思わせるシルエットにしております。
